Saturday May 2nd 1-5pm ET (NYC time)
"Windhorse is highly related to the Buddhist concept of bodhicitta, or “awakened mind” (also referred to as “awakened heart,” because the metaphorical heart and mind are often interchangeable in Buddhist philosophy). Present in both Tantric Buddhism and the Shambhala tradition, it operates on the premise of a power that comes from meeting the forces of life with a tender, brave heart.“ -Ethan Nichtern
In this extended half-day workshop, we’ll explore how ancient Buddhist wisdom can help us meet the challenges of modern life with confidence and compassion.
Senior Buddhist teacher and acclaimed author, Ethan Nichtern, will guide us through Windhorse meditation practices and other teachings from his latest Nautilus gold medal-winning book, Confidence: Holding Your Seat through Life’s Eight Worldly Winds.
