Advanced Buddhist Studies
A Yearlong Deep Dive into
Buddhist Philosophy & Meditation
Live Class Sessions Wednesdays 7-9pm ET
January - December 2026
Led by Senior Buddhist teacher and acclaimed author, Ethan Nichtern, this yearlong program offers a deep dive into Buddhist philosophy and meditation, with a focus on the Tibetan tantric tradition. Designed to be geeky-yet- practical, this program explores ancient Buddhist wisdom through a modern lens, with a focus on how students can bring the teachings off the meditation cushion and into their daily lives.
This program is best suited for those who already have a strong foundation in basic Buddhist teachings, or have already completed the introductory Yearlong Buddhist Studies program at Dharma Moon*.
*If you’re new to Buddhism or seeking a more introductory program, check out the Yearlong Buddhist Studies program hosted by our friends at Dharma Moon, which assumes no prior background in Buddhism or meditation.
