Intro to RAIN Meditation

R.A.I.N. is a meditation technique for bringing mindfulness and wisdom to difficult (sometimes hidden or layered) emotions, thoughts, or body states. Developed by Vipassana teacher Michele McDonald, then popularized by Tara Brach, this technique has been adopted and adapted by many Western mindfulness teachers. In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics of R.A.I.N, and learn to meet—and listen to—difficult emotions. Attendees will leave with a technique that can be used as a structured contemplation for meeting strong emotions in daily life.
